Torrevieja u3a is a non-profit organization registered in the province of Alicante with registration number CV0145540A

An elected committee takes on the responsibilty of managing the organization on behalf of its members.

At the Annual General Meeting all committee positions are open for election. All paid-up members can apply for a committee position, including existing committee members. The President, Secretary and Treasurer must hold Spanish residency and have been a Torrevieja U3A member for the year prior to the AGM. In the case of more than one applicant; a private ballot will be held, voting by paid up members present at the AGM and by proxy.

The committee comprises a maximum of twelve (12) volunteer members; with three being honorary volunteer members – president, secretary, and treasurer.

Please Note: Committee Member applications or Honorary Committee Member applications should be submitted to the committee secretary no later than 31st March for consideration at the AGM.

Co-Opted Committee Member applications can be submitted to the committee secretary at any time for consideration.
