The Torrevieja u3a Welfare Officer should be the first point of contact for members who need advice on medical, social or domestic matters.
At the foot of this page you should find several help and advice organisations. Click on the link to find more information.
Most of the time organisations such as Help Vega Baja, Reach Out, Samaritans, Helping Hands and the Citizens Advice Bureau in Spain provide a range of support options.
As we progress in years, and maybe find ourselves alone for the first time, we may need and appreciate some assistance or advice – perhaps during a spell of incapacitation at home or during a stay in hospital.
We are here to help in the well-being of our members. If you know of any member that needs or would appreciate advice or direction let our welfare officer know.
If you would like to help with the u3a Welfare, please contact our Welfare Officer, Ann Kelly ann.kelly299@gmail.com, for a chat and to learn how you can become a volunteer. Thank you.
