The Current Affairs & Discussion Group is exactly what it says on the tin. It is a forum where we discuss and debate issues and topics that are recent or of general interest from around the world.
The subjects are put forward for all members to offer their opinion and thoughts which can often take the discussion in unexpected directions.
With the wealth of knowledge available from both the careers and life experiences of those present it offers a wide base of personal interest to aid the debate. We try to follow the ethos of the U3A in stimulating minds. Everyone is allowed to have a view with the intention of everyone enjoying themselves.
