The next Beginners Course will run from Friday 4th September to Friday 9th October inclusive. It maybe full as the number of students is limited to 12, but you can contact the Group Leader and ask to be put on the Waiting List.
I am a qualified language teacher who has been teaching Spanish for over 40 years, mainly to adults and I have now taught a number of courses for u3a members.
This course is not about memorising grammar and using textbooks. The aim is to provide people with the basic skills to help them communicate in Spanish. Everyday topics, useful phrases, pronunciation guidance and confidence building being uppermost.
It also provides a great opportunity to meet like minded people and to learn in a supportive environment.
If you wish to join this course please be prepared to commit to attending the majority of the lessons and if missing a lesson is unavoidable ask for the notes and homework information so that you can catch up.
